Slater Shot Logger ("Slater," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you choose to continue as a guest, we do not collect any personal information.

Project Data: We store the project and shot data you create within the app, including project titles, scene details, shot descriptions, tags, and notes. This data is stored securely in our database to enable cloud sync across your devices.

Location Data: If you use the "Auto GPS" feature, the app accesses your device location to auto-fill the location field on a shot. Location data is only collected when you explicitly tap the Auto GPS button and is stored only within your shot records. We do not track your location in the background.

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to Slater Pro, our payment processor (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) handles all payment information. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never see or store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Slater Shot Logger service
• Sync your projects and shots across devices when signed in
• Manage your account and subscription status
• Improve the app based on usage patterns (anonymized)
• Communicate important updates about the service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Row-level security ensures that only you can access your own projects and shots.

Guest users data is stored locally on their device and is not transmitted to our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect and defend our rights or property

5. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Expo: App development framework

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your project data (via CSV, EDL, or FCPXML export features)
• Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Childrens Privacy

Slater Shot Logger is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the effective date above.
