Privacy Policy
Dial: Haptic ASMR Timer (“Dial”) is provided by Michael Cerdeiros (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use Dial or visit this website.
Information stored on your device
Dial stores your selected timer duration, active timer state, material theme, sound and haptic preferences, and related app settings locally on your Apple devices. Dial shares timer state with its widgets through an Apple app group. When an iPhone and Apple Watch are paired, Dial may exchange the newest timer state directly between them through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This information is used only to make the app and its extensions work and is not transmitted to us. Deleting Dial from a device removes the settings stored locally on that device.
If you allow notifications, Dial schedules timer-completion notifications locally on your device. Dial does not upload notification content.
Dial checks the current audio route to provide headphone-aware spatial sound. It does not record, store, or transmit audio.
Purchases and Dial Pro
Dial Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes payment through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card information.
Dial uses RevenueCat to verify purchase status and restore Dial Pro. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier and limited purchase information, such as the product identifier and transaction status. This information is used to validate, provide, and restore purchased access, prevent purchase fraud, and understand purchase performance through RevenueCat's customer history and analytics. It is not used for advertising or tracking and is not linked to your identity by Dial.
Information Dial does not request
Dial does not ask for your name, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, health or fitness information, voice recordings, or advertising identifier.
Support communications
If you contact us for support, we receive the email address and other information you choose to include. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot the issue, and maintain an appropriate support record. Please do not send passwords, full payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Website hosting
This is a static website with no publisher-operated analytics, advertising, forms, or tracking scripts. It is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and requested pages to operate and secure its service. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Retention and deletion
Local app settings remain on your device until you change them or delete Dial. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support records, or meet legal obligations. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information controlled by us, email mikecerdeiros@gmail.com. We may need limited information to locate and verify the relevant record.
Children's privacy
Dial is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Dial, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will always appear on this page.
